As I walk down the street, I feel my heart beat to my favourite song. I can only picture myself, centre stage being flooded by the spotlight. So as I enter the audition chambers with all eyes directed towards me I feel the excitement tingle through my spine. This is my moment, my moment to shine. I hear myself serenade melodiously, the judges apparently hear a croak followed by a cacophony of boisterous crows. It is true then, music indeed is everybody’s possession.
